AEROS REASSIGN NOREAU, KASSIAN TO TEXAS WILDCATTERS
HOUSTON, Texas – The
Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced the club has reassigned defenseman
Maxim Noreau and left wing
Matt Kassian to the
Texas Wildcatters of the ECHL.
Noreau, 20 (5/24/87), played in three games with the Aeros tallying five penalty minutes (PIM) and recording four shots on goal. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound native of Montreal, Que. Spent the last three seasons with the Victoriaville Tigers of the QMJHL where he tallied 148 points (44-104=148) in 203 games played.
Kassian, 21 (10/28/86), was recalled by the Aeros on Oct. 8 and appeared in four games with Houston recording 16 PIM and no points. The 6-foot-5, 236-pound native of Sherwood Park, Alb., was a second round (No. 57 overall) pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild.
