HOUSTON, Texas – Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled goaltender Nolan Schaefer from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL), and has reassigned left wing Aaron Voros to the Aeros. Houston has recalled goaltender Anton Khudobin from the Texas Wildcatters of the ECHL and right wing Milan Gajic has signed a PTO with the Aeros.

The Aeros host the Milwaukee Admirals Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 4:05 p.m. They are the final two games of the Aeros’ Thanksgiving Special in which center ice seats are just $20 and corner seats are $15. Call (713) 974-PUCK to order tickets.

Schaefer, 27 (1/15/80), has been recalled to the Wild three times this season without appearing in a game. He is 3-4-0 with a 2.67 goals against average (GAA) and a .906 save percentage in seven games for the Aeros this season. Schaefer is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Yellow Grass, Sask. He was San Jose’s fifth-round pick (No. 166 overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Minnesota signed Schaefer as a free agent on July 3, 2007. Schaefer is 5-1-0 with a 1.88 GAA in seven career NHL games - all with San Jose.

Voros, 26 (7/2/81), scored two goals and accumulated 14 penalty minutes in six games with the Wild after making his NHL debut Nov. 11 in Colorado. Voros has eight points (4-4=8) and a team-high 46 penalty minutes in 12 games with the Aeros this season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Vancouver, B.C., was New Jersey’s eighth-round choice (No. 229 overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Minnesota acquired Voros from the Devils for a seventh-round pick on March 1, 2007

Khudobin was recalled by ECHL Texas for the second time this season. He has yet to play in a game for Houston. The 21 year-old (5/7/86) netminder leads the ECHL in goals-against average at 1.55 and has yet to lose a game in regulation for the Wildcatters (5-0-0-3).

Gajic, 26 (6/1/81), has also signed a PTO with the Aeros. The Burnaby, British Columbia native was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round (#122 overall) of the 2001 NHL entry draft. This season with ECHL Victoria, Gajic has 22 points (8-14=22) and leads the ECHL in scoring through 14 games. He played six games for AHL Manitoba last season scoring five points (2-3=5).
