THIS WEEK'S HOUSTON AEROS ON LOCAL NEWS
This week your Houston Aeros have a number of appearances scheduled on local media stations. Monday, KHOU-Channel 11 recapped Sunday's Houston Aeros' Bobblehead Election on their 10 p.m. news. Butch Alsandor of KHOU was roaming the arena getting fans' opinions and reactions to the Bobblehead Election results on their thoughts on the presidential race.
Fox 26 will air a special segment about Aeros' goaltender Nolan Schaefer's wife, Lisa, who has Lyme Disease Friday night at 9 p.m. and again during their Saturday morning news. Melissa Wilson sat down with the couple to learn more on how Lyme Disease can affect any family and the research that's being done about the debilitating desease. Winston Dutchin of KPRC-Channel 2 stepped on the ice with Aero Matt Kassian to learn the fine art of fighting in hockey. Fighting isn't as easy when you're on ice, much less skates on ice, and their is also an unwritten code to bullying and fighting in hockey. Tune in Sunday night to see Kassian, the Aeros current strong man, show Winston how to throw his muscle around.
