AEROS RELEASE DEFENSEMAN JON INSANA
HOUSTON, Texas – Houston Aeros General Manager Tom Lynn announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has released defenseman Jon Insana from his professional try-out agreement (PTO).
Insana, 28 (9/2/80), played in 11 games for the Aeros this season scoring three points on a goal and two assists. The 6-foot-1, 202-pound native of Mount Clemens, Michigan was fourth in scoring among defenseman on the Aeros roster at the time of his departure. He is in his seventh professional season and has accumulated 27 points (5-22=27) in 146 AHL games.
The Aeros take to the ice this Friday when they host the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:35 p.m. CST at Toyota Center. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the Aeros’ Thanksgiving special in which center ice/club seats are only $22. Call (713) 974-PUCK or visit AEROS.com for more information.
