“HOCKEY HEALS FOR BO’S PLACE” KICKS OFF TONIGHT
Anonymous donor pledging money for every Krys Kolanos point

HOUSTON, Texas – Every point scored at Toyota Center by Houston Aeros forward Krys Kolanos during the remainder of the 2008-09 regular season will lead to a donation to “Bo’s Place” thanks to the generosity of an anonymous local donor. The program – "Hockey Heals for Bo’s Place" – starts with Saturday night’s 7:35 p.m. game against the Chicago Wolves at Toyota Center. Bo’s Place (www.bosplace.org) provides children and their families highly individualized grief support, free of charge, to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. This is the second straight season in which “Bo’s Place” has been the beneficiary of the donor’s pledge program.

The anonymous donor will give $1000 per Kolanos goal and $100 per Kolanos assist for each of the remaining home games this season. Also, if Kolanos tallies a hat trick (three goals) at any home game, the donor will give Bo’s Place a one-time donation of $5,000.
Pledge forms for fans will also be available at all Aeros’ home games, and online at www.aeros.com.

"Bo's Place has enjoyed being a huge fan of the Houston Aeros since 2005, and look forward to a continued relationship,” said Bo’s Place Executive Director Patricia Lind. “We are grateful to our anonymous Aeros supporter and the efforts of Krys Kolanos to promote our cause to assist grievng children and their families of Houston. Go Aeros!”

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Bo’s Place and support the organization's mission to heal grieving hearts in the Houston community ,” said Aeros Vice President of Marketing and Communications Courtney Eidman. “We want to thank our donor for the families’ tremendous generosity and we will continue to cheer on Krys during this exciting time of the season.”

This is the fourth such performance-based program for the Aeros and the donor. In the 2003-04 season, the Aeros ran a similar program called “Cullen for Kids” which raised over $3500 for The Sunshine Kids Foundation, and in 2005-06, “Murphy’s Mission” raised over $2600 for the “I Have a Dream”® Program, which included additional pledges from Aeros fans.

Last season, Steve Kelly and Joel Ward participated in “Hockey Heals for Bo’s Place” and raised a three-year high of $12,600. Krys Kolanos will continue the effort with Bo’s Place this season and fans are encouraged to help this great cause.

The Aeros take on the Chicago Wolves tonight at 7:35 p.m. at Toyota Center. Tickets for the game are available by calling (866) GO-AEROS or visiting
