AEROS, HOUSTON FOOD BANK TEAM UP TO FIGHT HUNGER

HOUSTON – The Houston Aeros are once again teaming up with the Houston Food Bank to host food drives during Friday and Sunday’s games against the Milwaukee Admirals. Fans who bring three non-perishable food items will receive a coupon for a free ticket with the purchase of a regular-priced ticket to the Aeros’ December 13 game against the Rockford IceHogs.

“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with the Houston Food Bank in their effort to fight hunger,” said Vice President of Marketing and Communications Courtney Eidman. “We look forward to our fans coming out in full force to help this great cause.”

The Aeros face the Admirals tomorrow, 7:35 p.m. at Toyota Center and the first 3,000 fans will receive a red Aeros cowbell. Sunday’s game against the Admirals will be the 2nd Annual Chilly’s Pet Pals game where fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game. Puck drop is set for 4:05 p.m. and the first 3,000 fans will receive an Aeros dog leash. For more information call 713.974.PUCK (7825) or visit aeros.com. Both games can be heard on 1070 AM KNTH and on ahllive.com. Sunday’s game will be joined in progress on KNTH at 5 p.m. Follow the in-game blog at zamchron.com.
