Houston is currently on a five-game winless streak after falling to the Admirals 3-1 last night. The Aeros are 1-5-1-0 against Milwaukee in seven games this season. AEROS NOTES

Playoff Picture - The Aeros are on the verge of missing the Calder Cup Playoffs for just the third time in the team's 16-year history. Last season Houston was eliminated by the Manitoba Moose in the Western Conference Finals. The Aeros have one Calder Cup title (2003) to go along with one Turner Cup (1999) from their time in the International Hockey League (IHL). Houston is currently 11 points back of Milwaukee for the division's fourth and final playoff spot.

Back-to-Back - The Aeros fell to 6-13-0-1 in the first game of a back-to-back this season, but are 10-6-2-1 in the second game. Houston has its final three-in-three next weekend when it hosts Lake Erie Friday, then travels to Peoria to play the Rivermen Saturday and Sunday.

Squadron Leaders - RW J-M Daoust scored the lone goal for Houston last night and now has 20 goals this season, passing RW Jon DiSalvatore (19) for the team lead. D Maxim Noreau assisted on Daoust's goal and leads the club in assists (31) and points (48).

Special Teams - The Aeros went 1-for-5 on the power-play last night and rank 21st in the AHL at 16.1%. It was just their 20th PP goal scored at home this season (20-for-161), which ranks 29th in the league at 12.4%. Houston Killed all five Milwaukee power-plays and ranks fourth in the AHL on the penalty kill at 86.0% (38-for-272). At home the Aeros are sixth on the penalty kill at 86.9% (18-for-137).

Scoring First - Houston gave up the first goal for the 37th time this season. Houston is 8-26-3-0 when allowing the first goal and just 2-11-1-0 when allowing the first goal at home. When the Aeros score first, they are 21-4-3-4; however, the Aeros have gone 0-2-0-2 in their last four games they have scored the first goal.

March Madness - Last season the Aeros went 8-5-0-1 in the month of March en route to the playoffs. Houston is currently 1-3-0-3 this month with five games left to play including today's contest.

Milestones - RW Danny Irmen is two games away from his 300th pro game. C Tony Hrkac is three goals away from his 300th of his pro career. D Brandon Rogers is five points away from his 100th pro point.
