AEROS SEARCHING FOR PA ANNOUNCER

Houston, Texas – The Houston Aeros will host tryouts for public address announcer THIS FRIDAY at 7 p.m. at Toyota Center. Those interested in applying should contact Ojinga Green at 713.361.7926.



The Aeros public address announcer must have knowledge of hockey, be enthusiastic and available to work all 40 home games from October-April, in addition to playoff games. The public address announcer will give scoring and penalty information at Toyota Center and perform other in-game duties such as introducing the teams and hosting intermissions. Monday-Thursday games are at 7:05 p.m., Friday-Saturday games are at 7:35 p.m. and Sunday games begin at 5:05 p.m. Applicants must be available two hours prior to game start time. The tryouts will consist of several phases allowing each candidate the opportunity to showcase their voice, reading skills and impromptu ability.
