HOUSTON - Thanks to Arne’s Warehouse Store, SpongeBob SquarePants of Nickelodeon fame has agreed to meet Houston Aeros hockey fans on Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19 at Compaq Center.



SpongeBob SquarePants, who is commonly referred to as SpongeBob by friends and family, will be available for picture taking at the Saturday Aeros game starting at 7:30 PM against the Manitoba Moose. The Boy Scouts of Houston will be in attendance along with many activities including Dodge Chuck-A-Puck. SpongeBob will be available in the Fun Zone for photos - due to square pant constraints, autographs are not be possible.



Sunday, January 19 the Aeros face off the Manitoba Moose again. Game time is 5:00 PM. SpongeBob will once again be in attendance for photo taking opportunities with fans. This date also marks the second Whataburger Family Day and the 9th Annual “Souper Bowl” benefiting Star of Hope. Fans are encouraged to bring a canned food item to receive one free upper bowl ticket with every ticket purchased. First three thousand fans will receive Coolers from Powerade.
