The Aeros are in Utah tonight to open a four-game, five-day road trip and try to make up ground on third-place Cincinnati. While Houston plays four games between today and Sunday, the Ducks play just two. The Aeros have two games in hand on Cincinnati.
Houston and Utah have had a fierce rivalary all season, dating back to Josh Harding's concussion suffered November 28. The teams have combined to average 102 penalty minutes per meeting in 2004-05. And Tuesday, the Grizzlies signed Eric Labelle, the United Hockey League's leading penalty getter.
