Aeros recall pair from PensacolaHOUSTON, Texas – The American Hockey League’s Houston Aeros have recalled forwards Adam Courchaine (core-SHANE) and Mark Rooneem (rooh-NEEM) from ECHL Pensacola, the teams announced Thursday. The pair was loaned to the Ice Pilots on November 22.
Courchaine has no points and is minus-one in six games for the Aeros this season. Rooneem has no points and 10 penalty minutes in five games for Houston. Courchaine is Pensacola’s leading goal scorer with 10 and is third on the Ice Pilots in points with 17 (10-7=17) despite playing in only 13 of his team’s 23 games. Courchaine was the ECHL’s Player of the Week for the week of November 28-December 4. Rooneem has six points (2-4=6) in 13 games for the Ice Pilots.
