Ryan Stanzel

Vice President of Communications/Administration

Biography:

Ryan Stanzel is in his fifth season with the Aeros. He was named Vice President of Communications and Administration on July 10, 2007, after serving as the team’s Director of Communications for the prior four seasons. As Vice President of Communications and Administration, Stanzel handles day-to-day operations of the communications department, including Aeros.com, as well as team travel arrangements and other hockey administrative duties.

Stanzel joined the Aeros in November 2003 from the Aeros’ ECHL affiliate, the Louisiana IceGators.

The native of Galway, N.Y., was named the ECHL’s 2003 Media Relations Director of the Year.

Prior to his job in Louisiana, Stanzel was with The Sports Network in suburban Philadelphia where he worked for one year after graduating from Wingate University in North Carolina.

While in college, Stanzel worked for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball team and the Albany Firebirds arena football team.
