Saturday, May 12 is Paralympic Sport Day in Houston.

Join the Aeros and  STARskaters.org at Memorial City Mall from 4-7 p.m. on Sat. May 12 for a Sled Hockey experience.

STARskaters was named a US Olympic Committee "Paralympic Sport Club" in 2011.  Their focus is to provide returning disabled miliatry vets with new sports opportunities, specifically Sled Hockey.

There will be on-ice competition, instruction, tips and tricks, and an opportunity for anyone who'd like to get in a sled and experience Sled Hockey.

The Texas Sled Hockey team, who won Bronze at USA Hockey National Disabled Fest in Dallas, will be participating. Also scheduled to appear is Taylor Lipsitt, the captain of the current team who won Gold a month ago in Norway.

Dan Pastorini, former Oilers QB, will be signing autogrpahs along with other NFL Alumni. Andy Yohe, the captain of the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal Sled Hockey team will also be signing autogrpahs.
