TWO AEROS PROSPECTS NAMED ECHL ALL-STARS

PRINCETON, N.J. – Defensemen Paul Albers and Mike Madill, both under contract with the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild and playing with the Aeros’ ECHL affiliate the Texas Wildcatters, were today named to the 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game. The contest will be played on Jan. 17 at Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.

Albers is tied for ninth among ECHL defensemen with 18 points (5-13=18) in 24 games and Madill is tied for 14th with 17 points (1-16=17). Albers was recalled to the Aeros this week for two days of practices before being reassigned Wednesday. Albers and Madill both attended the Aeros’ training camp. Texas has a third All-Star selection – forward Kevin Baker, who also attended the Aeros’ training camp.
