AMERICAN IDOL’S WILL MAKAR TO APPEAR AT SATURDAY’S GAME

Package available to meet former Idol

HOUSTON, Texas – Former “American Idol” contestant Will Makar, a native of The Woodlands, will appear at Saturday’s home game at Toyota Center against Peoria. Gametime is 7:35 p.m. Makar will sing a song off his upcoming album.

The Aeros are offering fans a chance to meet Makar, and help out a special cause as well. For $66, get two center ice seats, and sponsor two children represented by Child Advocates. In addition, everyone who purchases a package will be invited to a pregame VIP exclusive meet and greet session with Makar. Packages are limited to the first 20 fans who place an order. Makar is a junior at The Woodlands College Park High School. He finished as the eighth male vocalist in Season 5 of American Idol. He returned to The Woodlands in the fall after touring with Super Idols Live. Makar sang at the Aeros’ Chronicle in Education Kids Day Game on February 1, and two weeks later visited the Aeros’ Power Playroom at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital with a group of Aeros players.
