PATRICK ARMSTRONG NAMED DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League today announced Patrick Armstrong as the Director of Communications for the team. Patrick most recently served as the Director of Media and Community Relations for the Colorado Eagles of the Central Hockey League.

Armstrong, 27, spent four seasons with the Eagles, where he was named 2005 Public Relations Executive of the Year for the CHL. He will begin work in Houston on Monday, September 24th.

“I am very excited to join the Aeros in time for the 2007-08 season”, Armstrong said. “The organization has a great reputation and with the steadily increasing support of the community this should be a great opportunity.”

Armstrong graduated from Colorado State University in 2002 with a BA in Speech Communications and was born and raised in the capital city of Denver.
