The Aeros got on the board early with a goal from Kyle Wanvig at the 11:07 mark. Houston hoped to gain payback tonight for the home opener on Friday, October 24, when Cleveland stole the show.
In the second period Cleveland finally got on the board to avoid a shut out. The single goal from Patrick Rissmiller did not make a dent in Houston's scoring drive. The home team returned to finish the game in the third period.
Kyle Wanvig, Stephane Veilleux and Zbynek Michalek clinched the three stars of the game for the Aeros. Goalie, Johan Holmqvist, gained the win with 23 saves.
