WILD REASSIGNS DEFENSEMAN JOHN SCOTT TO HOUSTON
HOUSTON, Texas – Houston Aeros General Manager Tom Lynn announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has been reassigned defenseman
John Scott from the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Scott, 26 (9/26/82), was placed on injured reserve after suffering an injury October 3 in a pre-season game at Columbus. The 6-foot-7, 255 pound native of St. Catharines, Ontario notched three points, all goals, with the Aeros last season, and has nine points (4-5=9) in 129 games over two seasons with the club.
Scott was originally signed as a free agent by Minnesota on December 31, 2006.
The Houston Aeros take to the road for a five-game trip starting this Friday, November 7 at Hamilton and ending on Friday, November 14 at Lake Erie. The Aeros next home game is Sunday, November 16 against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in a
