AEROS TO PLAY INTRASTATE RIVALS SAN ANTONIO AND TEXAS

HOUSTON – Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill announced the American Hockey League (AHL) team’s 2009 pre-season schedule today. The Aeros will play both Texas rivals, hosting the San Antonio Rampage before traveling to Austin to play the expansion Texas Stars.
 
On Saturday, September 26th, the Aeros will host the Rampage at their official practice facility, the Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center (SLICE) at 6:05 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at the SLICE pro shop for $10. Call SLICE at (281) 265-7465 for more information.

The team then makes their first trip to Austin on Monday September 28th, to face the Stars, Dallas’ newly appointed AHL affiliate. Game time at the Cedar Park Center is set for 7:00 p.m.
