The Aeros and Stars hook up for the seventh time this season tonight, 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center. The Aeros enter tonight's game riding a three-game point streak (1-0-2-0) after losing a 4-3 overtime decision to Abbotsford Sunday. The Stars lost a 5-4 shootout to the Manitoba Moose Saturday at the MTS Centre their last time out. Houston is 2-4-0-0 against the Stars and will have five more meetings with the Stars this season. AEROS NOTES

Lone Star Faceoff - The Texas Stars come into tonight's game leading the Lone Star Faceoff standings with 17 points (8-3-0-1). The Houston Aeros are two points back (7-6-1-0) and the San Antonio Rampage is in third with 13 points (5-6-3-0).

Wild West - Five of the West Division's seven teams are within five points of each other for the top spot. Texas leads the West with 46 points, Milwaukee has sole possession of second place with 44 points, Peoria and Rockford share the third spot with 42 points and the Aeros are in fifth with 41 points.

Squadron Leaders - RW Jon DiSalvatore leads the club with 13 goals scored. RW J-M Daoust leads the Aeros with 18 assists and 30 points. LW Matt Kassian enters tonight's game with a team high 80 PIM.

Streaking - Daoust is riding a five-game point streak (2-6=8) including two helpers in each of his last three games. C Chad Rau is also on a five-game point streak (2-3=5) after recording an assist Sunday vs. Abbotsford.

Milestones - Tonight is D Justin Falk's 100th in an Aeros sweater. With goals in his last two games played, RW Danny Irmen is now one point away from his 100th in the AHL.

Special Teams - The Aeros have scored two power play goals in each of the last three games going 6-for-11 on the man advantage.

On the Road Again - The Aeros play their fourth road game in five outings tonight; part of a stretch of 11-of-15 games away from Toyota Center.

Strong December - G Wade Dubielewicz finished the month of December an undefeated 4-0-0 before traveling to Switzerland to compete for Team Canada in the Spengler Cup.
