AEROS FINISH SEASON WITH THREE LONE STAR BATTLES

    The Aeros host the Rockford IceHogs tonight in a 7:05 p.m. showdown at Toyota Center. Houston is 2-2-2-1 against the Hogs entering tonight's contest, which is the final meeting between the two clubs this season. The Aeros have won their last two games while Rockford was shutout by Milwaukee 4-0 Saturday in their last outing.

AEROS NOTES

Final Countdown - The Aeros enter tonight's game with just four games left on the 2009-10 season. The club will finish the season with three State Farm Lone Star Faceoff games. The club travels to San Antonio Thursday before hosting Texas Saturday for the home finale and then it's back to the Alamo City for the season finale. Thursday's game at San Antonio will be the fifth and final televised game this season. The 7:00 p.m. puck drop will be aired on FS Houston.

Kuemperature's Rising - G Darcy Kuemper stopped 21 shots Saturday night at Texas to earn his second career AHL win in as many starts. He stopped 23 shots during the Aeros' 4-3 win over the Wolves Friday in his first AHL appearance. Kuemper went 28-23-4 with a 2.73 GAA and .908 SV% in 61 games with the Red Deer Rebels (WHL) this season. He signed an Amateur Tryout (ATO) with Houston March 31.

Squadron Leaders - RW Jon DiSalvatore and D Maxim Noreau each recorded an assist in Saturday's win over Texas to remain the club leaders in points with 51. DiSalvatore leads Aeros skaters with 21 goals and Noreau is the club-leader is assists with 33. LW Matt Kassian's 144 PIM leads the team.

When Leading - The Aeros are 20-1-1-1 when leading after two periods this season including a perfect 12-0-0-0 mark at home. Chicago (14-0-0-0) and Lowell (15-0-0-0) are the only other AHL teams currently with flawless records when leading after two periods on home-ice.

Score Four - The Aeros have not lost in regulation when scoring at least four goals (19-0-1-1) including a perfect 12-0-0-0 record on home-ice.

Slam Dunc - RW Duncan Milroy leads Aeros skaters with 20 points (7g, 13a) and is a plus-8 in 29 games played since February 23.

Milestones - D Brandon Rogers is two games away from playing in his 200th in an Aeros sweater while Noreau skated in his 200th Aeros game Saturday at Texas. RW Danny Irmen currently sits in third place on the all-time AHL games played list with Houston and played in his 300th game Saturday.


    The Aeros finish the season with three Lone Star showdowns. Thursday the team travels to San Antonio to take on the Rampage in a 7:00 p.m. puck drop from AT&T Center. The game will be aired live on FS Houston as the sixth and final televised State Farm Lone Star Faceoff match-up of the season. The Aeros host the Texas Stars for their home finale Saturday with a 7:35 p.m. tilt from Toyota Center followed by the season finale back in San Antonio with a 3:00 p.m. Sunday matinee against the Rampage.
