HOUSTON --- The American Hockey League’s (AHL) Houston Aeros, affiliate of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild, today announced plans to help support Movember, an annual charity event held during November that encourages men to grow Mo’s (slang for moustache) to raise awareness and funds for cancers affecting men.
Aeros defenseman Jamie Fraser is helping lead the charge. Support his mustache growing efforts by donating $5 or more to the Movember campaign and receive a free ticket to the Saturday, January 1, game vs. San Antonio.

The Aeros will track the moustache-growing progress of Fraser and other members of the Aeros organization online at AEROS.COM.
A 501(c)3 non-profit, Movember benefits the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.
The Aeros (4-5-1-0, 9 points) host the Toronto Marlies Friday for a 7:35 p.m. game at Toyota Center. The Aeros are reaching out to the Houston community to “sponsor a soldier” for this Friday's game.
Companies or individuals who sponsor tickets, which are only $10 each, will be recognized on the Toyota Center video boards during the game, receive recognition on AEROS.COM, and have the opportunity to meet with the soldiers and their families at the game to say, “thank you,” for their service.
To help provide tickets for military personnel and their families call 713-974-PUCK (7825).
