OVERVIEW
The Houston Aeros (6-6-1-2, 15 pts.) visit the Peoria Rivermen (9-5-0-1, 19 pts.) to close out a five-game road trip (Sun. 3:05 p.m.). The Aeros dropped a 3-0 decision at Carver Arena Saturday night. The loss was their first regulation defeat after a six-game run earning at least a point. After winning seven in a row and seven of their first eight games, the Rivermen were 1-6-0-1 in eight games until last night’s win. Peoria leads Houston in the West Division standings by four points.

Matt McIlvane broke a scoreless deadlock 9:24 into the second period and Jake Allen made 22 saves as the Peoria Rivermen ended a six-game unbeaten-in-regulation streak for the Houston Aeros Saturday night at Carver Arena. Derek Nesbitt and T.J. Hensick each had a goal and an assist for Peoria. After McIlvane scored in the second, the Rivermen added goals 3:41 apart in the second led by Nesbitt.
