OVERVIEW
The Houston Aeros and Binghamton Senators square off in Game 2 of the Calder Cup Finals at Toyota Center. The series is a best-of-seven with a 2-3-2 format in which the Aeros have home ice advantage.

Jed Ortmeyer scored twice and goaltender Matt Hackett stopped 23 of 24 shots as the Houston Aeros upended the Binghamton Senators 3-1 in Game 1 of the Calder Cup Finals in front of 8,018 fans at Toyota Center on Friday night. The Aeros, sparked by Ortmeyer, Colton Gillies and Marco Scandella, rallied for three goals in the third period to take the lead. The win by Houston ended an eight-game road winning streak by the Senators.
