HOUSTON - The Houston Aeros announced today that the Minnesota Wild have reassigned LW Jean-Guy Trudel to the Aeros and recalled D Curtis Murphy and RW Kyle Wanvig.
Wanvig and Murphy both played in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN. For Murphy, it was his NHL debut and it was Wanvig's second NHL game as he played in his first game earlier in November. Murphy currently has 11-9-20 to lead AHL defenseman in goals and rank fourth in points. Wanvig has collected 10-9-19 and is third on the Aeros in goals and tied for first with four power play goals.
Trudel played in the Wild's loss at Nashville on Saturday night. He collected two penalty minutes in his fifth NHL game. Trudel leads the Aeros with 12-14-26.
In another roster move, Houston released C Tomas Hradecky from his contract. He played one game for Houston on Saturday in Utah and collected an assist.
