OVERVIEW
The Houston Aeros continue their second three-in-three set of the season with a pair of games at Charlotte before returning home on Sunday against Grand Rapids. The Aeros rallied in the third period last night to steal a 3-2 win over the Checkers. Jeff Taffe scored with four seconds remaining for the win.

---Carson McMillan received a four-game suspension from the AHL for an illegal check to the head on Oct. 15. He will miss all of this weekend’s games plus the game on Oct. 28.
---Casey Wellman had four goals in the first three games of the season and added another last night. He had two goals on Oct. 9 to record his second multi-goal game in the AHL. He leads the team with 21 shots entering tonight.
---Jeff Taffe scored with four seconds remaining at CHA on Oct. 21 to win the game for the Aeros. It was his first goal as an Aero.
---Drew Bagnall made his season debut at CHA on Oct. 21 after missing the first four games recovering from an offseason injury.
---Justin Fontaine scored his first AHL goal on Oct. 15 and added a shootout goal.
--- Goaltender Darcy Kuemper was reassigned to the Ontario (Calif.) Reign (ECHL) in order to gain playing time. The Aeros had been carrying three goaltenders (Dennis Endras and Matt Hackett are the other two). Kuemper won his debut on Saturday with 28 saves and also stopped 9 of 11 chances in the shootout as the Reign edged the Stockton Thunder 3-2.
