MINNESOTA WILD RECALLS PROSSER FROM AEROS
HOUSTON --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled defenseman Nate Prosser from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) and placed defenseman Greg Zanon on Injured Reserve.
Prosser, 25 (5/7/86), has recorded one assist and a plus-4 rating in seven games with Houston this season. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Elk River, Minn., skated in 73 matches with the Aeros last season tallying 27 points (8-19=27), 31 penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-12 rating. He added four points (2-2=4) and 16 PIM in 24 playoff contests with Houston. Prosser also appeared in two games with Minnesota.
He was originally signed as a free agent by the Wild on March 18, 2010, and skated in three games with Minnesota in 2009-10. Prosser registered an assist in his NHL debut at Edmonton on April 5, 2010. In five career NHL contests he has tallied one assist and eight PIM.
