KETTLES RECALLED, HARDING RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL
HOUSTON, Texas Houston Aeros 20-year-old goaltender
Josh Harding has been treated for a concussion and released from Memorial Hermann Hospital, the team announced Monday. Harding suffered the injury with five seconds left in Sundays 5-2 win over Utah at Toyota Center. In a related move, the Aeros have recalled goalie
Kyle Kettles from ECHL Louisiana.
Harding, ranked the top goalie prospect in the Minnesota Wild organization by The Hockey News, is 5-7-1 with a 2.01 goals against average in this, his rookie season. Harding ranks ninth in the American Hockey League in goals against average.
Kettles, 23, spent the entire 2003-04 season in Houston, with a 4-9-5 record and a 2.80 goals against average. Kettles is 4-3-1 with a 2.98 goals against average in eight games with the IceGators. In his most recent game on Saturday, Kettles made 32 saves in a 1-0 shutout win over Texas.
The Aeros play games three and four of their eight-game homestand Thursday at 7:05 p.m. versus Rochester and Friday at 7:35 p.m. against San Antonio.
