The Aeros make their first visits of the season to Cincinnati tonight and tomorrow at 6:35 p.m. to take on the Ducks. Houston enters the weekend set five points behind the third-place Ducks, but with five games in hand. The Aeros finish off the three-in-three set Sunday in San Antonio, which is returning home from a 12-game road trip.
Houston comes into tonight's game having picked up points in four straight road games (2-0-1-1), but it faces a Cincinnati team with just one regulation loss in its last 15 home games (13-1-0-1). The Ducks lead the AHL in penalty minutes, and veteran goalie Frederic Cassivi has three straight shutouts, including 5-0 over powerful Philadelphia on Wednesday.
