The 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs are down to the final four, and Chicago represents the West Division. The Wolves, who knocked off the Aeros in five games in the division semifinals, earned another five-game decision over Cincinnati in round two.
Chicago, the 2002 Calder Cup winner, faces Manitoba beginning Thursday in the Western Conference Finals. In each of the four seasons the Wolves and Aeros have met in the post-season, the winner of the series has gone on to win the league championship.
Out East, Philadelphia and Providence open the conference finals Friday, after both teams advanced in five games.
