AEROS ADD THREE TO FRONT OFFICE STAFF

Boss, Sides, Steiner join Wild’s AHL developmental affiliate

HOUSTON, Texas – The American Hockey League’s Houston Aeros have announced the following additions to their front office staff: Lauren Boss as director of marketing/promotions, Kirk Sides as art director, and Dan Steiner as director of new business development.

Boss comes to the Aeros from Cox Radio in Houston, where she worked as an account executive after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a major in English. Boss previously interned with Foote Cone & Belding Advertising Agency in Sydney, Australia, with Fogarty Klein & Monroe Advertising Agency in Houston and with Charter Films & VH1.

"Lauren will make an excellent addition to our marketing staff,” said Aeros vice president of marketing and communications Sandy Kirk. “She has experience with promotions in the Houston market and will make each Aeros event exciting and fun for our fans."

Sides just completed a graphic design internship with the Houston Astros while earning his master’s degree at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Sides has also worked as a free-lance designer and free-lance photographer. In addition, he has owned “On Time Photo” in Houston for three years. The Texas A&M graduate also has a strong Information Technology background.

"Kirk has a diverse design background that will bring fresh new ideas to Aeros fans in Houston and Minnesota,” added Sandy Kirk. “We are so pleased he is a part of our team."

Steiner worked for the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals for the past two seasons. The Fond du Lac, Wisc., native has also worked for major-league baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Blizzard (af2). He earned his sport and recreation management degree at Marian College.

“Dan has a reputation in the industry for great customer service,” said Aeros vice president of ticket sales Tom Stallings. “We brought Dan to Houston to enhance our fan's overall experience with the team and front office and we look forward to his contributions to the organization this season.”
