The Houston Aeros and The Maple Leaf Pub will host a “Meet the Team” night on Monday, October 8th from 6:00 p.m.-8:00p.m. at The Maple Leaf Pub, located at 514 Elgin Street in midtown Houston (intersection of Smith and Elgin).

Hockey fans will have an opportunity to be one of the first in Houston to meet the 2012-13 Houston Aeros. In honor of the event, The Maple Leaf Pub will run happy hour specials all day and serve $2.00 “Bomber” shots. The Cheesecake Factory will be on hand to provide food. Following the event, The Maple Leaf Pub will run Bingo with an Aero as a guest host. Fans that play will also have the chance to win Aeros prize packs as part of Bingo. The event is open to the general public.

Due to limited space and high demand, fans that plan on attending will need to R.S.V.P. by Friday, October 5th at 5:00 p.m. by emailing Alicia Kouri at the Houston Aeros front office – akouri@aeros.com.  Those that attend the event should plan ahead for parking.

The Aeros will play 76 regular-season games this season. The home portion of the schedule commences on Saturday, October 13, at 7:05 p.m. with the Charlotte Checkers at Toyota Center. The game will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first Aeros game played by the World Hockey Association (WHA) team in 1972.

Aeros season tickets start as low as $9 per seat and may be purchased online at Aeros.com by placing a $100 deposit. Once your order is processed, an Aeros ticket representative will contact you to choose your exact seat location, as well as discuss the payment options.
